It's a good thing somebody feeds me around here. If it weren't for this plastic corn cob and empty bottle, I might have to howl once in a awhile.

Annika's response to "Give the baby a kiss."
(She still thinks that means give the baby your head so she can eat it.)
Here's a kiss, baby.

Parental Amusement

There are times during parenting when the punishment takes care of itself. This afternoon, Annika climbed up on a chair and was helping herself to things on the table that she shouldn't have been into. The chair slid out from under her, she fell to the floor, and a tall glass of ice water landed on her head and poured down her back. She got up howling. The rest of us enjoyed a good chuckle, and my floor got clean. All is well that ends well.

For more amusement, see this morning's conversations on the bilingualism page.

Or how to make you crack a smile. Ha. Gotcha! You can't resist my charm.

"żMas Fotos?" She asks, jealous of the attention Keira is getting. She wasn't looking quite as ready for the photo shoot. All that dirt on her face, where is her mother anyway?

Andy told Annika they were going to the mall and that she needed to get ready.
This is what ready looked like.

There. I hope you enjoyed that because the dishes are crawling out of my sink and I'm wasting my precious few moments of peace while the kids nap.
