Toddling Travelers

If you're thinking about traveling with a 15 month old on a vacation to a warm destination for FUN, think again. They're just old enough to toddle wherever they please. Of course, they won't walk beside you where you want to go, and they won't walk ahead of you to some set destination. They will, however, wander off to the gift shop, snatch up armfuls of beanie teddies placed so cleverly on the lowest shelf, and walk out of the store. At least it gives the storekeeper some change in scenery during her 12 hour shift without customers, right? 15 month olds can't feed themselves without bathing in the delicacy, but they'll throw a hefty tantrum if you try to assist. They don't particularly like to swim, but when they DO decide that something in the pool looks worth reaching for, they're sure to be fully clothed. And lastly, they're not partial to port-a-cribs.
