So, I thought it about time to give the site some life. I know, I know, all YOU want is more pictures, but this is what you get for now.

Progress... we're moved into the house, floors are done, and 1 room is painted. We aim high around here. :) Though 3 closets got a makeover also. The wallpaper is coming off slowly, the leaves are raked from this fall, mostly, and the new dryer venting is complete, with the exception of the insulation around the hole. The garage is empty enough to fit a car into (as long as you don't need to get out of the car while it's in the garage). There are only a few boxes left to be unpacked (less than 15).

Boy, it sounds like we haven't done anything yet! I guess it's all the small things that take time. The previous owners didn't clean ANYTHING before they left, so I still have a few cabinets to wash out. I did manage to clean 50 years worth of pine needles, tinsel, and plastic cranberries out of the attic one day.

We've also started the driveway project. According to the survey we were handed on the day of closing, the property line runs down the center of our driveway. From what I have done to verify that, it seems correct, sooooo we're trying to "move" the driveway. Just a little at a time. In order to move it fully, there is a healthy tree and 2 bushes that would have to be removed. Anyway, for the time being, Andy is shoveling 2 feet of gravel from the neighbor's side and moving it to our side, then putting in some edging so the gravel doesn't inch back over. Someday when we get rich, we'd like to put in a concrete driveway.
