I feel whole again!

My two darling daughters both took naps, for 2 hours, at the same time. It was 2 terrific hours of uninterupted quietness. On top of that, we had meeting here last night so the house was already clean. I got two hours to myself in my own clean house!!! Whoever heard of such a luxury?!? :-) I do love them, I do. I just also happen to like sitting quietly in a clean house. I got to read a book. Like, actually read a whole paragraph without getting up 35 1/2 times. Technically speaking, I studied that gigunzo Spanish grammar book I was telling you about. I also made 2 pie crusts. One for my supper quiche and one for the freezer. How cool is that? Now, maybe I should confess a few things. First, the house is technically only 1/3 clean. The upstairs is a disaster and the basement is not much better. And that hypothetical ironing pile? Well, it's twice the size it was when we last talked. I have 2 heaping baskets of clean laundry, waiting to be folded. There are a gazillion other things that I didn't do and probably should have, but who cares. I got to read about redundant pronouns and neuter articles and other brain taxing constructions.
