Alive and Traveling

We're still here. Though not for long. Back at Thanksgiving time, we braved the airports for a week long trip home. A few short weeks later, we jumped ship for warmer shores, and just got back home this morning at 1:15 am after a nice trip to Hilton Head Island and long airport delays. Now, Andy's grandpa has passed away and we're headed to FL for the funeral. I'm trying to get my 35 heaping loads of laundry through the system in time to put everything back in the suitcases. All of this with two infants in tow. Maybe next year I'll catch up on my sleep and Annika will eat something besides french fries and Life cereal. Oh, and Happy Anniversary to us. Here's a few pics from the week.

I love birdies. Of all kinds. Exotic parrots or seagulls, I'm not partial.

I had no idea how cool it is to pay bills. This is Annika the moment I vacated my seat.

The truth comes out

My days used to have a beginning and an end. You know, you rise to the sound of that aggravating little buzzer, shower, eat, and head off to work by 7 am. The day had a defined middle - work. And a defined end - bedtime. Sleep. Uninterrupted. Now? By the time I'm finishing my morning routine, Andy's calling to say he's on his way home from work, and asking what's for supper. Supper?!? But I just had breakfast!
