Since we've been walking exclusively for a week and a half, it's about time we learn to run! Annika rediscovered her doll stroller and has been tearing around the house with it. The only thing that keeps her speed down is the toys she left laying in her path.

Seedy Whole Wheat Sourdough Bread Recipe

Here's my creation... it could probably still be tweaked, but this is what I did and it turned out.
1 cup sourdough starter (I use the potato flake starter)
2 cup whole wheat flour (-2 TB)
          2 TB wheat gluten
          1 cup bread flour
          3/4 tsp salt
          1 TB flax
          1 TB millet
2 TB unroasted sunflower seeds - (add toward the end of the mixing)
          2 TB water
          1/3 cup oil
          1/4 cup honey

Mix ingredients together, knead, and place ball of dough in a greased bowl to rise. Let rise 8-12 hours (or until double). Shape into loaf, place in greased loaf pan, let rise 4-6 hours. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.
