After further assessment the strange rash doesn't seem to be shingles. Some other weird outbreak, but it's healing over, so all is well. Maybe a bedbug went a feastin' on my scrumptious flesh.

So, I've discovered something wonderful. If you use the "Heavy Wash" cycle on the dishwasher, you don't have to rinse anything before loading the dishwasher, and it still comes out clean. Really. Just thought I'd share my recent discovery.

We had our first real snow here in the balmy southern state of Indiana... it finally looks like winter. We got 4 inches or so, and everything is truly snow covered. Though it's melting already. I told Andy, all the crazy people who were out this morning shoveling were making extra work for themselves. If they just procastinated a little, the matter would take care of itself. Andy agreed. He said it's called Spring. Snow removal the organic way.

Shingles???

I have a rash on my side that sounds a lot like shingles. I called the doc today, and the nurse said the medicine only reduces the duration and/or severity of the illness. Since it's not bothering me much at all and I wouldn't take the medicine anyway because I'm nursing, she agreed there's no reason to come in right now. Fun!
