A custom order gone (slightly) awry, this fantastic set of quilted mahogany was paired with an upgrade red spruce top to create a flashy reinterpretation of the venerable prewar Martin D-18. Unfortunately, this got a little closer to prewar D-18 specs than the client got a full D-18 trim package when it should have received the herringbone treatment. Fortunately, we now have a replacement guitar underway and are making things right. So bad news becomes good news on two fronts: our client is excited about the custom guitar he'll be receiving shortly and we're excited because we can now make available for purchase an outstanding custom Rockbridge with essentially no wait. This one will definitely stand out from the crowd.
