I always thought GuitarMatch.com was a pretty catchy name for the site, but perhaps we should switch it to inspiredbyGibson.com! Here's another beautiful Gibson reinterpretation for you (many) enthusiasts, this time from David Flammang's shop in Greene, Iowa. An especially pretty guitar, the curvy body style is complemented by rope purfling, flashy Bella Voce inlays, a bound fingerboard, and a beautiful sunburst finish. Just as the vintage L-00s from which Flammang drew his inspiration for the guitar, this one is ideal for country blues. The raspy, thick nature of the tone is most noticeable across the pronounced mids, and the bass is characteristically percussive. It's only been singing "Sweet Home Indianapolis" for a few short days, but imagine this blues machine is ready to ramble on to its next spot. A scratch or finish blemish below the bridge is visible in the pictures. Overall, the guitar's in excellent condition. The original hang tag quotes the $5825 original price; our asking price is considerably lower.
